Lots to blog about...

Yup, today I'll be making up for lost time! It's been a while since I posted last, so you get a lot today! First of all, I'm really worried about Jeffrey...
See that little blue thing? (Sorry, I know its tiny, thats as far as my camera would zoom!)
Well, that just happens to be the baby Jesus from one of my nativities. And yup, thats the patio of the apartment beneath us. You guessed it, Jeffrey was trying to get rid of him! Ah! What kind of sadistic son do we have?
We were going to go rescue him the next morning, but by that time the cleaning crew had already been through. (Its one of the model apts.) So, baby Jesus is lost forever :(
(luckily its just a little piece of wood!)

Next, I Love Christmas Music! And Christmas in general- I love the winter weather we get here, I love the decorating, and making sugar cookies (which I havent done yet, but I thoroughly intend to!), everything. Its the most wonderful time of the year! I cant wait till we get a tree.
Congrats again Sun Devils on the win Saturday night. Bummer about not getting into the Fiesta bowl- The Holiday bowl is still good though, right?
I love the atmosphere of college football games. So much energy!

Can you feel the love? :)

Finally, I just wanted to put up a couple cute pictures of my cute family!

My tummy at 7 months

The cutie pie!
My two stud muffins!

I am grateful for...

I know thanksgiving is over, but I feel very thankful right now!! Thank goodness for running water!!
The water main at our apartments broke yesterday, so we were without water for a good portion of the day. I didn't realize how much water we use for everything! Even simple things like cleaning up Jeffrey after meals was such a pain. We had to use bottled water and baby wipes for everything. (Its a good thing we stock up so much on bottled water!) Tyson even took a shower with bottled water- it took 9 bottles!
I cant imagine how anyone lives without running water. No showers, no washing hands, no toilet, nothin! I think the hardest part would actually be not having indoor plumbing- man am I grateful for that! Especially with my over-active pregnant bladder! :)
I love technology!

Halloween

We really didnt get any good halloween pictures- I'm so bummed about that. But here are the few that we got and you can kind of get the idea! Jeffrey was dressed up as an angel- which was a fitting costume because usually he's not so angelic!

Just kidding- he's awesome most of the time- although Brock's favorite nickname for the JeffMan is "little terrorist".

Terrible Two's- a little early

Tyson has told me that his mom used to say to him "Do you stay up at night thinking of ways to make my life miserable?!"

Well, yesterday was the first time I've felt like saying that to Jeffrey! He's always been a little terror but then he really showed it.

First of all, when it was time to change his poopy diaper he would not hold still! There was no way to make him stop rolling over and getting up-so after 5 minutes of trying to get him to lay down, I decided I would just throw him in the tub. The bath was ok- he enjoyed being in the water but would still not let me wash him very easily. Then again, at putting-a-clean-diaper-on time, all he wanted to do was run around and climb on the couch naked.

As I'm writing this, it doesn't seem like as big a deal, but I wanted to pull my hair out yesterday!! Oh man! That kid doesn't like to hold still for 2 seconds. I really hope his sister is a little more calm!

Thankfully, though, he eventually took a 2 1/2 hour nap and I was able to get the house all clean for Tyson! I felt so good after that!

By the way, this is what Jeffrey would look like if he decided to grow his hair out... what a pretty girl!

Go Devils!

Last Saturday we went to the ASU vs Cal Football game- so fun! Its really exciting to have a winning team to cheer for. We'll see if they can keep up their undefeated-ness this Saturday when they play Oregon- should be a tough game. The only lame part was after the game the whole student section stormed the field, which in and of itself is really fun! But then people started climbing on the goal post and were trying to knock it over. How dumb can you get! "Yeah, we've got school spirit! Lets show it by destroying stuff!" That really left a sour taste in my mouth. But we had an awesome time cheering and getting cool ASU t-shirts nontheless!

We decided to become official Sun-Devils- the plan was to go to UofA in the spring, but after a quick trip down there we figured out that we like grass! There isnt any in Tucson! Lol. So Tyson will go to ASU instead. It's so nice to have a plan and be moving forward!

And, as a side note, Jeffrey is adorable! I mean, just look at those lips!!

I thought we were safe

I used to be so proud of Jeffrey. All the other little toddlers I know like to throw things away- the remote, car keys- you know what I mean. Well Jeffrey was so good at not doing that! He loves to take his diaper when I'm done changing him and throw that away, and he transfers things from the recycling bin to the garbage can, but thats no big deal. Well, I couldn't find my keys today and I thought, well maybe Jeffrey put them in the garbage.
Guess what I found!
Nope, not the keys....but I did find a book cover, 4 or 5 different small toys, a sock, and some of Brocks super expensive coins! EEK! We have a garbage baby now...I was really looking forward to not having to worry about that. *sigh* Oh well. So, any good suggestions on toddler proofing garbage cans?
On a different note...I dont think I've posted on here yet what kind of baby is going to join us in January!! (my due date is the 19th).
We're having a little girl! (I think most of you know that already, but now its official- it's on my blog!) :) We can't wait for the little princess to be here!
Oh, one more thing! Not that this is super important...but I'm excited about it!
Growing up, I loved it when I would go to friends' houses and they had candy bowls there...I'm a bit of a sugarholic...So I decided to do it too! Today I went and bought some candy corn and some orange and black M&Ms to set out. Yay! We dont have much by way of guests here...so they're mostly for me. But I'm ok with that!
I can't wait for Halloween!!

yay, pictures!

He discovered daddy's tennis racket-now one of his favorite things is to hit tennis balls around on the floor with it!
Maybe we'll have a little Federer on our hands!
He recently started loving bubble baths!

Jeffrey waking up Uncle Brock

Maybe I'm weird, but I get a kick out of Jeffrey's mad face!

Finally!

Well, it's definitely been a long time since I've written anything up here. I guess my life just isn't exciting enough to write about. :)
Just kidding, we've got a fun life!
Tyson's twin brother Brock moved in with us a couple weeks ago to go to school at MCC. It's definitely been different having someone live with us- I'm just now getting used to it. It's a little tricky adding someone elses schedule into ours and having more dishes to do, and man! Does he drink a lot of milk!!! I think between Brock and Jeffrey guzzling it (and all of us having cereal at least once a day) we go through about a gallon a day. Whew! Good times though...at least he's getting his protein...:)
Jeffrey is, by far, the cutest boy alive. I know you all think you have the cutest kids too, but you're probably just biased because their yours (not that I'm biased at all)! Hehe! I love how he just picks up on things...like recently he started knocking on doors. With a closed fist and everything! I can't even remember knocking in front of him, but he knows how now. He's picking up on copying some words too, when he feels like it. He can say "moo" when he looks at a picture of a cow, and sometimes he'll copy me when I do other animal sounds. And when he wants a banana, he points to one and says "nana"! It's so fun to see Tyson interact with him too. They love wrestling and Jeffrey gets the biggest kick out of being thrown in the air! He's just getting so big and smart. I guss with that comes defiance, and he knows how to throw a good tantrum. He's known how to kick and scream for a while now, but these past couple days its grown into falling on the floor and thrashing his legs. Its actually really funny to watch! I should get it on video sometime. Well, maybe not, I'm not sure if anyone else would appreciate the humor in it. :)
The strangest thing happened last night. I got home from school at about 10pm and came home to a messy house. (Thats not the strange thing...its messy quite often!) But when I walked in, I felt like cleaning!! I should go back a bit- our house isn't a pigsty, but with 3 boys here, it's not always the most picked up. I normally I dread cleaning, but I just couldn't make dinner with things all over the floor and table. So I guess it was more tidying than cleaning- but hey, I'll take it! It's such a good feeling to have a clean house. I feel like we're always so much happier when not surrounded by clutter.
I wanted to post some pictures as well, but I couldn't find my digital camera anywhere. Eek!
As soon as I find it, you'll get some.
Love and Kisses-
Kim

oops

Oops, didn't mean to put 2 of the same pictures there. What I meant to add was this one:

Pictures of us

Isn't Jeffrey adorable??!

Here we go!

This is my first post on my own. I'm not exactly sure what to write..but I'll just start! Tyson and Jeffrey are sleeping right now- they are both very fond of naps! Tyson is kind of on a break from school right now- his last day of class was on the 2nd, but he still has about 4 assignments he has to turn in before the 16th, so even though there's no more class, he's still got a lot of work! I'm planning on taking some classes this fall. Probably child and family studies, interpersonal communication and child psychology. Good classes for my planned profession of being a mommy! Speaking of which...my little one year old will be a big brother early next year! I cant belive I'm only 21 and already a mom of 2 (pretty much). I hope my kids appreciate having a young mom! Lol.
We've all been sick this last weekend...it has not been fun. It's just been with colds, but ugh, how annoying! We've been stuck in the house so as not to infect anyone else, and we're definitely getting stir crazy. We've done a couple things- Friday night we went out and saw the Simpson's Movie. It was pretty good- funny, but I dont think I would pay another 7 dollars to see it again. I still havent seen Harry Potter, and I desperately want to! And the Bourne Ultimatum looks awesome! I remember seeing the first 2 Bourne movies in high school, and I loved them!
Jeffrey is such a cute little boy! He's becoming more and more independent, but still cant get enough of his mommy! =) He gets very defiant when he doesn't get what he wants, so I'm finding little tricks to get him to do what I want him to. They mostly consist of distracting him! He really brings joy into our lives!
This sounds more like a journal entry than anything else, so I hope you all aren't bored to tears!

Our First Post

This is our first post. :)

We're practicing. These are our friends the Higgins. We think they're swell.
